PROFESSOR OLENA BUDNYK SPOKE AT THE PLENARY SESSION OF THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES

On 24 November, Olena Budnyk, Director of the PNU EcoSystem Centre, participated in the plenary session of the scientific conference entitled Society Technology Economy. Scenarios of the Present and the Future, held at the John Paul II Academy in Bielsk, Poland. Speaking on New Technologies in Education: Challenges of Distance Learning for Children in the Context of War in Ukraine, she highlighted some trends in digitization of education, the specifics of distance and blended learning, and presented the results of a survey of Ukrainian teachers on the challenges and difficulties of teaching children of war in modern conditions. The technologisation of education, the innovations introduced in Ukraine to improve the digital literacy of people of all ages, including children and young people, was given much attention.She outlined some of the special educational projects designed to help children continue to learn under martial law. The All-Ukrainian School Online distance learning platform, with teaching materials, online lessons, training videos on YouTube, etc. was presented.
