THE TEAM OF THE CENTER TOOK PART IN THE II REGIONAL FESTIVAL OF STEM-EDUCATION

On October 9 the team of the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies “PNU-Eco-System” – Professor Olena Budnyk and Associate Professors Inna Chervinska, Victoria Gnezdilova, Mykhailo Kotyk took part in the II Regional Festival of STEM-education. The purpose of the festival is to acquaint the public with innovative educational technologies, create platforms for communication, search and support of promising experience and ideas for the development of STEM education. The poster on the topic: “The use of innovative teaching tools in STEM-education”, which is realized under the EU Erasmus + KA2 “Modernization of Pedagogical Higher Education by Innovative Teaching instruments – MoPED” (№ 586098- EPP-1-2017-1-UA-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) was presented at the festival in the category “Science”.

The report described the main tasks of the Center for the introduction of pedagogical innovations in work with such target groups as students (future teachers), university teachers, teachers of preschool, general secondary, extracurricular education. Considerable attention in the report-presentation was paid to the organization, planning and conducting in the Center together with other departments of the university open lectures, training, workshops for teachers, as well as webinars, international conferences using digital resources to promote and implement STEM -education in the region. During the presentation, the team of the Center acquainted the festival participants with innovative technologies for the implementation of STEM-education in educational institutions. The youngest participants of the festival were especially interested in a robotics master class and experiments with virtual and augmented reality. For active participation in the festival, the team of the Center was awarded diplomas and gratitude from the Mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk.
