GEOCULTURAL SCIENTIFIC LITERACY – fourth year in a row

Already the fourth generation of students of the Faculty of Pedagogy of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University study Geocultural Scientific Literacy, the course developed within the framework of the EU project ERASMUS + KA2 – MOPED – 586098-ЕРР-1-UA -EPPKA2-CBHE-JP. Students demonstrated remarkable creative abilities and emphasized their readiness to work at New Ukrainian School.

This year, russia’s military aggression in Ukraine did not give students the opportunity to work in the traditional format and take advantage of all the possibilities of the “PNU EcoSystem” Innovative Classroom. Despite this, distance learning did not prevent students from revealing their creative potential and demonstrating pedagogical skills. After all, high awareness of students in working with digital tools, acquired new knowledge and skills, innovative techniques and methods caused special interest and motivation, with which students worked in classes and during independent work.

Tetyana Blyznyuk, the teacher of the innovative course, assistant professor of the Department of Pedagogy of Primary Education, noted that the analysis of individual and group projects created by students-future teachers made it possible to affirm the high-quality work of all the participants of the educational process, the achieved learning results, the formed competencies and the realized goal of the discipline. Educational content developed by students is already an important part of their portfolio as future teachers of primary school and will definitely be used by them in their professional activities.
