Under the cooperation agreement signed with the Pomeranian University in Słupsk, Olena Budnyk, Director of the Centre for Innovative Educational Technologies “PNU EcoSystem”, Professor of the Department of Primary Education, visited Poland as a visiting professor at the Institute of Pedagogy. During this time, the following courses were delivered to students majoring in Primary and Preschool Pedagogy: Pedagogical Innovations in Preschool Education and Methods of Teaching Informatics and the Use of Information and Communication Technologies. The issues of implementing pedagogical innovations in the practice of educational institutions in Ukraine and Poland, media literacy, the use of digital learning tools, basics of robotics and programming, as well as the potential of artificial intelligence (including GPT chat) in the teaching profession were the subject of active discussions.
Polish students received an invitation to publish their articles in the collection of Ukrainian-Polish scientific works “Educational Innovation” (Ivano-Frankivsk, No. 8, 2024). Prospects for further scientific and educational cooperation, mainly in the field of academic mobility of professors and students, were discussed with the administration of the Institute of Pedagogy. Polish professors will also contribute to the preparation of scientific articles for our educational journals (category B) – “Educational Horizons” and “Journal of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University”.
