The experts of the PNU EcoSystem Center participated in the panel discussion “New Education Model” on May 14th.
The event’s moderator was Dr. Dmytro Shevchuk, a Professor and Vice-Rector for research and pedagogical work at the National University of Ostroh Academy. The participating speaker was Mykhailo Veselskyi, a Candidate in Legal Sciences, who spoke about the important aspects of creating a model for a happy child, motivating them to learn, and preparing innovative teachers in Ukrainian schools. Kateryna Fomin, a Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, emphasized the need to implement modern approaches to teaching English and using digital tools in pedagogical interaction, innovative teaching methodologies were proposed, emphasizing the issue of educational leadership in modern schools, the importance of professional immersion, and financial literacy for contemporary Ukrainian students. The discussion also involved teachers and practitioners from Kherson, Ternopil, and other cities. Director of the Center, Professor Olena Budnyk, highlighted the challenges of creating a student/teacher model in martial law conditions, considering the challenges of digitalization and reassessment of spiritual priorities. She stressed the importance of cooperation between scientists and practitioners in practice-oriented student learning, the use of artificial intelligence, and the significance of soft skills in child development. The resolution decided to continue the panel discussion and hold such talks on a regular basis.
