On September 26, an online meeting with pedagogical staff-participants of the affiliated (non) conference EdCamp in Burshtyn “New Ukrainian school: primary, secondary, higher. Synergy in Action” took place (within the framework of the EU Erasmus+ KA2 project “Modernization of Pedagogical Higher Education by Innovative Teaching Instruments (MoPED)” (№586098-EPP-1-2017-1-EN-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP).
Professor Olena Budnyk spoke at the report “Digital technologies in STEAM-education”. In an interactive format, current issues of digitalization of education, the use of research-oriented online learning in a global coronavirus pandemic were covered. The possibilities of the Go-Lab ecosystem were presented (https://www.golabz.eu), which today contains the largest collection of remote/virtual laboratories, educational applications, more than a thousand research learning environments (Inquiry Learning Space – ILS) for distance and mixed learning. The speaker emphasized the necessity to develop new online laboratories in the Ukrainian language, adapted to the State Standards of General Secondary Education, taking into account the requirements for the results and competencies of students in educational fields. Due to the questions in the chat, the listeners expressed interest in many applications, research environments, and laboratories on the Go-LAB platform. The event was attended by more than 30 teachers from different regions of Ukraine. The speech also presented the capabilities of the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies “PNU EcoSystem” to improve teacher’s skills, including online.
