With the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, the need for new knowledge, professional communication and development becomes especially evident. During the COVID-19 pandemic numerous educational platforms became available for remote learning. Thanks to the Rectorate, the teaching staff of our university received free access to advanced training on the international platform Coursera for Campus, where leading experts from the best world universities (Michigan, California, San Diego, New York, Arizona, London, etc.) share their online learning / teaching experience. The Center team got acquainted with innovative practices of global education and personal self-improvement. Among these courses: «Conversation English Skills» (Prof. Halyna Mykhailyshyn ), «Teacher Coaching: promoting sustainable changes», «Learning How to Learn: Powerful mental tools to help you master tough subjects», «Learning How To Learn for Youth» (Prof. Olena Budnyk), «Teach English Now! Foundational Principles» (Associate Professor Tetyana Blyznyuk), «Work Smarter, Not Harder: Time Management for Personal & Professional Productivity», «Introduction to Virtual Reality» (Prof. Olena Budnyk, senior lecturer Mykhaylo Kotyk), «The 3D Printing Revolution», «Speak English Professionaly: In Person, Online & On the Phone» (senior lecturer Mykhaylo Kotyk) and others.
The new experience will help to carry out remote education for students more effectively and organize courses for professional development of pedagogical and research staff on the basis of the Center of Innovative Educational Technologies «PNU EcoSystem”.
