On May 29, Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University hosted an award ceremony for the participants of the VI International Competition for School Students “Let’s Save the Planet Together!” and the International Festival-Competition “Ukrainian Embroidery Unites Friends.” The celebrations were supported by the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Military Administration, personally by its Head Svitlana Onyshchuk, Member of Parliament Oksana Savchuk, Department of Education and Science of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration Viktor Kimakovych, Mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk Ruslan Martsinkiv, Acting Rector of the Precarpathian National University Igor Tsependa, and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Eduard Lapkovsky. Honorable awards were presented to winners of city, regional, national, and international competitions, contests, and tournaments, as well as to students, educators, researchers, and university professors. Talented youth showcased their most innovative inventions, creative projects, and artistic performances.
Professors Olena Budnyk and Inna Chervinska, members of the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies “PNU EcoSystem,” were awarded letters of appreciation from the Mayor in recognition of their active involvement as jury members in the competitions and their dedicated support of talented youth in the region. For several years, specialists from the Center have maintained close collaboration with the Center for Educational Innovation of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council, under the leadership of Director Maria Pochynok, in promoting STEAM education.
