SCIENTISTS’ CHALLENGES IN TIMES OF WAR WERE DISCUSSED AT AN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE IN POLAND

The Center’s team – Prof. Olena Budnyk, Associate Professor Kateryna Fomin and Senior Lecturer Mykhailo Kotyk – participated in the International Scientific Conference “Challenges of the Scientific Community during the War in Ukraine” organized by the Military Academy of Technology in Warsaw with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Poland. The event, held on November 6-8, brought together scientists from Poland, Ukraine, and the Slovak Republic. The reports of all participants touched upon various aspects of the russian-Ukrainian war (security, psychological, pedagogical, economic, political, technological, etc.). In particular, considerable attention was paid to the pedagogical aspects of organizing the educational process and the application of Viktor Frankl’s speech therapy for psychological support of children with war trauma (Prof. Olena Budnyk), the use of ICT in training future specialists in conditions of martial law (Associate Professor Kateryna Fomin), and the challenges of military computer engineering (Senior Lecturer Mykhailo Kotyk). Prospects for further scientific research on this issue and international cooperation were discussed.
