On September 29, Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University hosted the first session of the “Center of Innovative Educational Technologies – PNU EcoSystem”, created as part of the MoPED project of the EU ERASMUS+ «Modernization of Pedagogical Higher Education by Innovative Teaching Instruments» (58 -1-2017-1-UA-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP). The session was held in line with the August Pedagogical thematic conference of heads of schools of general secondary education, vocational schools of Ivano-Frankivsk «Pedagogical Partnership as a Basis for Quality Changes in the Educational Space of the City».
Moderators of the location “Digital Competences at the New Ukrainian School” Professor Olena Budnyk and Associate Professor Tetyana Blyznyuk, told the heads of educational institutions of the city of Ivano-Frankivsk about the peculiarities of creating MoPED EcoSystem at the University to modernize the content of higher education in the context of improving teachers’ vocational training for New Ukrainian school with the use of innovative pedagogical technologies. The couches presented the possibilities of using educational spaces and technical equipment in forming the digital competences of teachers. Besides, they demonstrated in practice the use of mobile devices in the organization of individual work with the staff, possibilities of receiving instant feedback, improving the image of the educational institution, improving the quality of school management. Ivano-Frankivsk education managers expressed interest in using the latest technical equipment in their pedagogical activities, and showed a desire to cooperate in the field of teacher training.
