From November 18 to 29, 2024, the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies ‘PNU EcoSystem’ hosted advanced training courses for academic staff teaching in professional pre-university and higher education institutions. The course, ‘Modern Digital Environment of Higher Education Institutions,’ was conducted online and included 34 participants from various regions of Ukraine. The program focused on innovative digital tools and resources essential for education, particularly in the context of martial law. Participants enhanced their competencies in innovation, information and communication technology, media and digital skills, and inclusive education.
Key areas of development included:
Using digital innovations to enhance the educational process, research, and personal and professional growth, as well as modeling inclusive educational environments to address mental, physical, and educational barriers (led by Professor Olena Budnyk); Implementing strategies to counter cyberbullying, mastering manipulative techniques, and navigating the modern media landscape (led by Professor Inna Chervinska); Experimenting with AI tools for professional and pedagogical applications (led by Associate Professor Victoria Gnezdilova); Integrating digital tools for web design, 3D presentations, interactive learning tasks, and evaluating student outcomes (led by Associate Professor Tetiana Mykytyn); Applying virtual, augmented, and mixed reality in higher education and utilizing MATLAB and Simulink for innovative learning (led by Art. Professor Mykhailo Kotyk); Exploring academic exchange opportunities for students and organizing virtual scientific mobility for educators (led by Associate Professor Kateryna Fomin).
Upon completion of the program, all participants received certificates for 30 academic hours (equivalent to 1.0 ECTS credit).
